Accreditations Include





All drivers with South Coast Transport under go statutory training for five consecutive days in accordance with ADR legislation.


These Include

  • Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Act, 1998 (S.I. No. 43 of 1998)

  • Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations (S.I. No. 288 of 2007)

  • Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 289 of 2007)

  • Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Act 1998 (Appointment of Competent Authorities) Order (S.I. No. 290 of 2007)

  • Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Act 1998 (Fees) Regulations (S.I. No. 291 of 2007)


In addition, all new drivers joining South Coast are provided with further training through a 3 day induction course. The company's in-house driver trainer accredited by R.T.I.T.B (UK), carries out regular audits and/or retrains each driver every 6 months. This provides the feeling of professionalism from within the company which is in turn displayed to our customers.
